Meeting Point for Motorbike Travellers
Touratechs Travel Event in Niedereschach, Germany, is a red-letter day in the calendar of many motorbike travellers. This year, the event is all about Touratech's 25th anniversary. From June 12th to 14th, visitors can look forward to a great jubilee party with lots of novelties and surprises. There will be even more motorbike action with the 2015 Motorrad GS Trophy Germany, taking place at the same time.
About 70 exhibitors, more than ever before, and numerous interesting guests from all over the world will make this a very special event. Nolan, Metzeler, BMW, Ducati, KTM, Suzuki, and - for the very first time - Yamaha will show up with their impressive show trucks. All their new motorbike models will not only be presented to be admired, they can also be tested.
The Travel Event will be starting on Friday, June 12th. Part of the varied programme are exciting lectures and interesting workshops all about travelling, motorcycles, photography and navigation. There will also be stage shows and facility visits - all for free, of course. A diversified catering with moderate prices is waiting for hungry visitors. Bargain hunters can look forward to special anniversary offers and the popular Second Sale. From Friday to Sunday, the shop opening hours will be extended.
The event site will be extended by an area featuring a new grandstand to provide more action and excitement - on Saturday night with the finalists of the BMW Motorrad GS Trophy and, during the daytime, with the show rides presented by the Enduro-Park Hechlingen. Also, professional child care will be provided so the "big folks" can fully enjoy the Travel Event.
Last year, the guided tours, training sessions and ride outs were very popular attractions. Therefore, Touratech will once again offer numerous riding opportunities with various difficulty levels. For organizational reasons, an online registration at travelevent.touratech.de/en is required.
The travelogues will lead you from the Pyrenees (Dirk Schäfer) to Sumatra (PegasoReise), but this is not the only thing on the agenda to take you all around the world: One highlight at the 2015 Travel Event will be the premiere of the new Touratech movie #Wherever You Go about Ramona and Herbert Schwarz's journey to New Zealand, embedded in a personal retrospective. The presentation will start Saturday night right after the award ceremony of the BMW Motorrad GS Trophy.
On Friday, June 12th, photographer and journalist Dirk Schäfer will take you on the trails of the legendary Dakar rally and the Austrian adventurer Joe Pichler will talk about his tour across Madagascar. A movie by the British record hunter Nick Sanders and a review on mutual experiences of 25 years of Touratech by the Touratech CEOs Herbert Schwarz and Jochen Schanz will round out the diversified evening programme.
