The Rolling Trade Fair by Touratech is on the road for the fifth season in 2025. Wherever the bright yellow pickup with the trade fair trailer appears, there will be live information, test drive opportunities and plenty of good conversation.

With the rolling trade fair, Touratech has created an innovative format for product communication. The trade fair truck is always there where the target group is. That means the season openings of Touratech support centres, motorbike dealer events and all the small and large meetings of the motorbike community at home and abroad. The exhibition trailer offers an exhibition area of 80 square metres, on which a representative selection of the current Touratech portfolio is shown. Touratech rider equipment is represented with helmets, suits, gloves and boots as well as technical accessories. Protectors, luggage systems, ergonomic parts and suspension elements can be experienced live.

‘The live presentation is particularly important in the area of suspension,’ says Thomas Nagork, Touratech Head of Sales Germany, who will be touring the Rolling Trade Fair himself. "We always have three fully equipped demo bikes with the latest suspension elements with us. Interested parties can test the suspension intensively - when we are guests at off-road events such as Mammut Park, even off-road. The effect is particularly impressive when customers arrive with their own bike with standard suspension and can then test the Touratech Suspension systems in direct comparison," says Nagork.

The demo bikes will be brought in depending on the location visited. ‘When we stop at a Yamaha dealership, we naturally make sure that one or two fully equipped Teneres are on board so that we can offer visitors what they are looking for,’ explains the sales professional. ‘While in the first two years we were mainly guests at festivals and Touratech dealerships, we are now receiving more and more enquiries from motorbike dealers,’ says Thomas. ‘Unfortunately, we can no longer fulfil all the requests.’

This is because the concept is popular. Motorbike enthusiasts appreciate the direct contact, the intensive discussions and the personalised advice. The Rolling Trade Fair now also significantly characterises Touratech's external image and brings the adventure spirit to customers. ‘It's not uncommon for the trade fair trailer to be used as a shelter at festivals during sudden downpours or for the pickup to pull stranded motorhomes and trailers out of the mud,’ recalls Thomas. ‘The best contacts are established in situations like that.’

The Rolling Trade Fair always pulls large crowds.

‘Although Touratech is now a company with around 550 employees and has undergone an enormous professionalisation process, we are still perceived by the community as an approachable brand - just like in the early days 35 years ago,’ continues Thomas. The Rolling Trade Fair by Touratech is now not only on the road during the motorbike season, but all year round. The pickup truck travels to distributors and selected motorbike dealers to organise Touratech theme evenings. Products for the coming season are presented in a cosy atmosphere and explained in relation to the personal wishes of the visitors.

The theme evenings are often hosted by Thomas together with Product Manager Margaux Nycz, who knows all the ins and outs of rider equipment. ‘Motorcycle travellers particularly appreciate the fact that Margaux and I underpin our explanations with our own practical experience, which we gather on our motorbike tours,’ emphasises Thomas.
