The new Aventuro Travel Carbon combines the best of both worlds: It has numerous features of a robust adventure helmet and is also a top-class luxury flip-up helmet. Its wide range of uses appeals to comfort-oriented travellers as well as adventure riders who are travelling off the beaten track. As a completely new development, it complements the proven virtues of Touratech flip-up helmets with numerous new features. But first things first.
HIGH-STRENGTH AND LIGHTWEIGHT: THE X-PRO CARBON HELMET SHELL
To fulfil its premium claim, the Aventuro Travel Carbon relies on state-of-the-art technologies. This starts with the helmet shell. Like its sister model, the Aventuro PRO Carbon, it is made from X-PRO Carbon. The brand new X-PRO Carbon technology realises an unrivalled strength-to-weight ratio. In this process, 3K carbon (3,000 fibres per bundle) is formed into a high-strength composite structure. The high fibre content (≥ 60 percent) maximises the mechanical properties of the helmet shell, while the precise fibre distribution ensures uniform strength in all dimensions and an elegant appearance. Despite its greater rigidity and strength, the X-PRO Carbon helmet shell is around 10 per cent lighter than conventional designs. The Aventuro Travel Carbon is available with two shell sizes to ensure the optimum ratio of head size to the thickness of the EPS dome.
HERO IN THE LEGAL JUNGLE
The fact that the Aventuro Travel Carbon easily fulfils the current ECE 22-06 helmet standard is a mere formality in view of the high-tech material. Let's stay in the realm of paragraphs for a moment. The Aventuro Travel Carbon is homologated both as a full-face helmet and as a jet helmet (P/J). What sounds like legal hair-splitting has tangible advantages in everyday motorbike use: In contrast to many flip-up helmets on the market, the new Aventuro can be legally ridden with the chin section folded up.
The chin section is locked with a mechanism that is as secure as it is easy to operate. Precision-manufactured stainless steel components ensure that it engages precisely and has a long service life, even in difficult environments with lots of dust.
X-PRO CARBON
With the new X-PRO Carbon technology, the ratio of fibres to resin is perfectly balanced. This helps to reduce the consumption of epoxy resin by around 15 percent, shorten the curing time and, above all, achieve the best properties of carbon fibre in terms of impact resistance and weight.

FEEL-GOOD FACTOR
In addition to its outstanding protective effect, the new Aventuro Travel Carbon is characterised by maximum comfort. The skin-friendly X-MART Dry material ensures a pleasant wearing comfort. This modern textile material impresses with its excellent moisture management, so that the skin always feels pleasantly dry, even at high temperatures or during physical exertion. It goes without saying that the lining can be easily removed for occasional cleaning.
The three-dimensional construction of the interior adapts perfectly to the shape of the head, while the Morpho Fit system in the cheek area ensures a customised fit. The seamless inner lining integrates multi-channel ventilation, which ensures optimum air circulation. Air is supplied via a highly efficient ventilation system with two closable air inlets at the front and two outlets at the back of the helmet. The central element of the air management system is the patented Mid Airflow Chamber, which creates a storage volume between the inner and outer EPS domes.

A central element of the innovations in the Aventuro Travel Carbon is the new Mid Airflow Chamber, a patented system that creates a storage chamber between the inner and outer EPS domes. This innovative system promotes the rapid circulation of fresh air around the head and efficiently channels hot air away through the rear vents.

The Aventuro Travel Carbon also sets standards in terms of acoustics. Starting with the ingenious design of the helmet shell with its striking rear spoiler, the carefully moulded attachment on the chin section and the advantageous airflow properties of the lightweight helmet shield, the entire aerodynamics of the helmet and its components are designed to avoid disruptive turbulence.

In addition, numerous innovative and detailed solutions ensure a pleasantly low noise level in the comfortable interior. Firstly, there is the 360-degree closure of the visor, which can be rotated in two directions and, in addition to maximum safety, ensures excellent sound insulation in conjunction with the Silent Travel Seal, a double rubber seal. And then there are the completely new, integrated anti-noise cheek and neck pads, which form a comfortable and effective seal around the neck. The result of this extensive acoustic tuning is a pleasant silence in the helmet, which makes a valuable contribution to maintaining concentration on long journeys.
WITH ALL YOUR SENSES
Nature-loving travellers in particular will love the extra-large field of vision of the Aventuro Travel Carbon, which allows unrestricted enjoyment of the landscape. The integrated sun visor offers protection in strong sunlight and is easy to operate even when wearing gloves. When the sun is low, the length-adjustable helmet shield helps to avoid glare. The Touratech Aventuro Travel Carbon is already prepared for the installation of motorbike communication systems. The Nexx X.COM3 and X.COM3 PRO systems can be seamlessly integrated into the helmet. The flip-up helmet also comes with a comprehensive accessory package, which includes a camera mount for installation on the side and top of the helmet.
