Touratech soft luggage systems are an attractive alternative to rigid case systems. They can be attached to Touratech's own carriers using quick-release fasteners. With the brand-new adapter, they can now also be mounted on the original BMW carriers for aluminium cases. This means that the wide range of Touratech side bags is now available for even more motorcycle models.

Whether you're planning an off-road tour or a trip through the city, soft luggage systems offer a host of advantages. As the name suggests, the side bags are soft. This means that, compared to rigid cases, the risk of injury in the event of a fall is lower, and if you accidentally touch another vehicle while weaving through traffic, a friendly smile is usually all it takes. But Touratech soft luggage systems can do much more. They are waterproof and offer variable storage volume, and they are also easy to remove and convenient to transport. Touratech soft luggage systems are attached to the carrier with the ingeniously simple docking panel. The quick-release fastener is locked when the bag is attached and can be unlocked again with a single hand movement. The ingenious mechanism secures the side bag to the carrier without any play and makes it bombproof. The optionally available locks complement the range of functions and enable keyed-alike locking with other lockable Touratech products.

SOFT LUGGAGE ADAPTER FOR NUMEROUS BMW MODELS

For vehicles equipped with the Touratech luggage rack, attachment with the docking panel is naturally child's play, safe and tried and tested over many years. From now on, installation works just as well with the rack from BMW's original accessories range: thanks to the new Touratech adapter! The bracket, made of 18x2 millimetre thick stainless-steel tubing, harmonises perfectly with the BMW rack thanks to its electropolished surface. It is securely screwed to the rack with a set of clamps. And voilà: Touratech soft luggage systems can now be used on numerous BMW models without any problems.

THE TOURATECH DOCKING PANEL

Touratech side bags are equipped with a revolutionary quick-release fastener. The central element is a plate made of lightweight but high-strength plastic. This plate has precisely positioned plastic hooks for attachment to 18-millimetre round tube carriers. In the centre of the docking panel is an aluminium plate that carries a precision quick-release fastener made of high-strength stainless steel. The docking panel is an integral part of the bag, based on the sandwich principle. It forms a stable back wall and ensures a secure and comfortable lock on the carrier. Locks complement the range of functions and enable keyed-alike locking with other lockable Touratech products.

ENDURANCE

Welded from ultra-robust, plastic-coated fabric with a thickness of 660 g/m2, the Endurance combines enormous durability with soft handling. Internal reinforcing keeps the bag perfectly in shape even when only partially filled. The roll closure, which allows the volume to be varied continuously, does the rest. As a member of the Waterproof by Touratech product family, it goes without saying that the Endurance is waterproof. The Endurance side bag is manufactured in Germany in collaboration with textile specialist Vaude from pollutant-free materials, most of which are made from sustainably sourced raw materials. With a sensationally low weight of only 2.16 kilograms each, ready to install, the Endurance offers a volume of 30 litres per bag. This means that enough luggage can be stowed away even for longer tours.

TRAVEL

The Travel soft luggage range combines practical functionality with a distinctive design. The bags are waterproof welded, and the particularly robust material guarantees long durability. The highlight of this new luggage system is the hard-shell lids, which give the bags additional robustness. The lid also features a Molle system to which additional items can be attached. Reflective lettering and reflective sections behind the Molle patches on the sides ensure passive safety and a distinctive look.

EXTREME

The side bags from the EXTREME Edition by Touratech Waterproof range are made from an advanced three-layer laminate that combines waterproofing with abrasion and tear resistance. In addition, the robust material, in combination with the durable base plate, gives the bag the necessary rigidity. The textile material is fully welded, making the bag completely dust- and waterproof. For maximum practicality, the interior is bright yellow, as with all luggage items in the range, so that even small items can be easily found thanks to the bright contrasting colour. The technical surface of the robust material has an exceptional feel, underlining the high-quality standards. The unique robustness and functionality of the EXTREME Edition by Touratech Waterproof series is also reflected in its attractive rugged look. The EXTREME Edition soft luggage system includes a 30-litre and a 40-litre side bag. This compensates for the four-centimetre difference between the luggage racks and ensures that the rear of the vehicle is symmetrical overall.
