Touratech aluminium pannier systems: Huge variety for demanding adventure riders

Touratech is world-famous for its indestructible aluminium pannier systems for more than three decades. Three pannier series with numerous size variants and different finishes are available, so that travellers can choose from a huge range of hard luggage.

Somewhere far out on the really tough tracks of this planet is where the Touratech aluminium pannier systems originated. Developed by adventure travellers for the adventure community, these luggage systems meet the highest standards of robustness, quality and practicality.

Rugged stainless steel rack

The base of all Touratech aluminium pannier systems is a carrier made of generously dimensioned 18x2 millimetre stainless steel tubing. This is manufactured specifically for each model so that a design close to the vehicle can be realised and the lowest possible leverage forces act on the fittings. Touratech stainless steel carriers are available either electropolished with a silky shimmering surface or with a black powder coating.

Aluminium pannier systems with numerous combination options

The Touratech aluminium pannier systems combine cases of different series and sizes with the respective model-specific carrier. There are currently three ZEGA pannier series and the special ZEGA Evo X system to choose from. The cases can be customised not only by series, but also by size or finish. With this huge selection, Touratech offers adventure riders the unique opportunity to configure an aluminium pannier system specially made to suit their needs. For the new BMW R 1300 GS alone, there are 36 different configurations to choose from!

In addition, top cases from various series are available, for which there are also model-specific top case carriers that are in no way inferior to the case carriers in terms of robustness. It goes without saying that all ZEGA cases, top cases and carriers are Made in Germany.

The ZEGA aluminium pannier range by Touratech

ZEGA Mundo

The ZEGA Mundo is the gateway into the world of high-quality Touratech aluminium pannier systems and already has all the key features that characterise the ZEGA family: An indestructible body made from 1.5 millimetre strong aluminium sheet, the body and bottom are riveted, a high-strength aluminium profile serves as the upper end of the case body and a sealing lip fits snugly into the lid profile. The case is completely dust and waterproof.

ZEGA Pro

The ZEGA Pro has all the features of the ZEAG Mundo. In addition, there is the extremely robust protective bar on the body. This is screwed on and can therefore be easily exchanged and replaced, for example after a fall. The same applies to the sturdy protective corners on the case lid. The ZEGA Pro not only impresses with its technology and workmanship, but also with its many clever details and modern design.

ZEGA Evo

Developed further on the base of the ZEGA Pro, the high-end ZEGA Evo pannier offers some updates in detail. However, the truly revolutionary feature is the newly developed locking system. The case can be locked and unlocked on the carrier with one hand. Another unique feature is the lockable lid closure for convenient opening and closing on both sides thanks to the practical hinge function. Carrying handles and hooks for attaching accessories inside the lid are also part of the standard equipment of the ZEGA Evo, as are the preparations for various accessory holders on the front sides.

ZEGA Evo X

The ZEGA Evo X version is available for selected motorbike models. In this case, the carrier excludes the exhaust so that, in conjunction with an appropriate case, an extremely small overall width and a symmetrical vehicle rear is realised.

ZEGA Topcases

ZEGA top cases have the same basic design as the ZEGA Pro and Evo panniers. Evo top cases are available in 25, 38 and the XXL version with a volume of 72 litres. ZEGA Pro top cases with 38 litres.

ZEGA accessories

A wide selection of inner pockets helps to optimise the storage space in the ZEGA cases and keep things tidy.

An comprehensive range of accessories is also available. A universal base plate can accommodate various accessory holders for canisters, drinking bottles or first aid packs, for example. Customised textile bags can also be attached to the lid. Even a table that can be conveniently stowed in the case is available.
