Touratech: Experience

Touratech is much more than a manufacturer of motorcycle accessories and rider equipment. As an approachable brand, Touratech offers customers a holistic experience of motorcycle travel and adventure. A colourful world full of experiences, exchange and riding fun - created by people who live and breathe motorcycling - awaits discerning adventure riders.
With the Travel Event, Touratech has not only created one of the largest motorcycle travel meetings in the world, but with Active Adventure and the Adventure Camp Mammut Park, Touratech has also succeeded in establishing two completely new riding formats especially for travel enthusiasts. And last but not least, Touratech has initiated Adventure Country Tracks (ACT), a project that opens up unique off-road routes in numerous European countries to adventure riders.
Touratech Travel Event
Since it was first held in 2002, the Touratech Travel Event has developed into one of the largest motorcycle travel meetings in the world. Every year, tens of thousands of adventure riders from countries around the globe come together around the company headquarters in Niedereschach.
The location in the foothills of the Black Forest is the perfect place for extended motorcycle tours with old and new friends - on your own or with an expert tour guide. And those who want to get to know an alternative to their own machines will also get their money‘s worth at the Travel Event. Numerous motorcycle manufacturers will be on site with their impressive show trucks and plenty of demonstrators.
Factory tours, the popular second-choice sale and numerous workshops are also part of the varied program. The atmospheric finale is provided by a huge campfire, around which visitors gather until late into the night before retiring to their tents on the nearby camping meadow for a well-earned rest.
The centre of the action is the stage area under the large polygon tent. Presentations take place on the stage during the day before renowned speakers step into the spotlight at dusk and report on their motorcycle adventures in elaborate multivisions. The event traditionally ends with a live act.

Touratech Active Adventure
With Active Adventure, Touratech has created an innovative format that enables riders of touring enduros to ride their machines completely legally in varied terrain. For one weekend, 12-14 exclusively accessible off-road locations are available around the Touratech headquarters in Niedereschach.
The 400 or so participants in the traditionally quickly booked-out event can ride the individual locations on their own. However, there will be competent staff on site to assist the riders if necessary. At the end of the challenging riding days, the enduro riders meet at the Touratech headquarters for a cozy get-together around the campfire. If you want, you can pitch your tent on the nearby camping meadow.
Active Adventure combines riding fun with a high sense of responsibility. The concept was developed in close cooperation with the regional authorities and is supported by nature conservation specialists. The event is flanked by an elaborate safety concept.

Adventure Country Tracks
The first Adventure Country Tracks (ACT) project in Portugal was launched in 2016 on the initiative of several Touratech employees from Germany and Portugal. The aim: to combine legally accessible off-road routes into one route that leads through the entyre country.
The response from the adventure community to the successful project was overwhelming, so the next track was soon scouted: An adventurous route across Romania. Here, too, the tried and tested concept that is still valid today was applied. The route mainly leads along unpaved or remote side roads that not only offer riding fun, but also enable an authentic experience of the country away from the tourist mainstream.
Adventure Country Tracks is now a registered association that is committed to preserving legal gravel routes in Europe and making them accessible to enduro travellers. A gentle and respectful experience of the host country is at the heart of the concept, which relies on cooperation with regional and local authorities.
The GPS tracks and a detailed documentation of the route are available to club members free of charge and are intended to invite them to explore the respective country on their own. The elaborately produced feature-length documentaries provide authentic impressions of the tracks.
Touratech continues to be the main sponsor of ACT, and numerous other companies from the motorcycle and accessories industry also support the association.
The following Adventure Country Tracks have now been developed: Portugal, Romania, Greece, Italy, UK, Pyrenees, Croatia and Albania/Montenegro. The cost of membership of Adventure Country Tracks e.V. starts at 99 cents per month. more details
