Softsystem Endurance for BMW R12 G/S – ultra-lightweight, robust, and uncompromisingly functional
With the Softsystem Endurance, Touratech offers an especially lightweight yet extremely durable alternative to classic aluminum panniers. Developed for demanding use on-road and off-road, the system delivers maximum functionality with minimal weight.
Waterproof, reduced in design, and fully practical: the side bags blend seamlessly into your motorcycle’s appearance in Black or Lava Red color options. The proven roll-top closure allows for a variable packing volume of up to 30 liters per bag and reliably protects the contents from water, dust, and dirt.
With a weight of only approx. 2 kg per bag and a maximum payload of up to 10 kg, handling remains agile and controlled at all times. Even in off-road sections or urban environments, the system impresses with flexibility and durability – without excessive width or risk of breakage in case of a fall.
Manufactured in cooperation with Vaude, the Softsystem Endurance also stands for sustainable production “Made in Germany” – PVC-free and designed for longevity.
The Touratech side carrier included in the set was specially developed for the lightweight rear frame of the BMW R12 G/S. Made from 18 mm stainless steel tubing with 2 mm wall thickness, it offers an optimal balance of stability and material-friendly load distribution – intensively tested under real off-road conditions.
With only 88 cm system width, the motorcycle remains slim and agile – even with luggage, the overall width stays below handlebar width.
