De Touratech Expedition motorbeschermer biedt zeer goede bescherming tegen steenslag en grondcontact, waardoor schade effectief wordt voorkomen.
De meervoudig gevouwen inkepingen in de 4 mm dikke aluminium bodemplaat zorgen voor maximale stabiliteit, terwijl de kracht van een botsing wordt verdeeld over een groot gebied op 6 bevestigingspunten dankzij twee extra 4 mm roestvrijstalen bevestigingsplaten op de motor. De bodemvrijheid wordt niet beperkt door deze twee voetplaten.
