That was the 20th Touratech Travel Event 2025
Unforgettable experiences, spine-tingling moments, and plenty of celebrities from the scene—the international adventure rider community gathered from May 30 to June 1 at the Touratech Travel Event around the headquarters of the motorcycle accessories manufacturer in Niedereschach, Germany.
Unfortunately, the 20th Event is already over. More than 15,000 visitors came to the latest edition of the legendary get-together of the international motorcycle travel scene in glorious summer weather. To mark the double anniversary – 20th Travel Event plus 35 years of Touratech – the festival organizers had come up with some great ideas to top previous editions.
The stars of the scene thrill visitors with powerful performances
The scene's best-known protagonists took to the main stage in front of the huge polygon tent to recount their adventures and inspire the audience. Nick Sanders was there and captivated the audience with his incomparable storytelling style. Simon & Lisa Thomas established an almost magical relationship with the audience as they provided fascinating insights into their lives, which have been spent traveling around the world on two wheels for almost 20 years. Joe Pichler, who had actually already bid farewell to the stage, demonstrated his full range of skills as a photographer and entertainer with his multivision show. And last but not least, Charley Boorman presented the latest Touratech Adventure Movie about a motorcycle trip through the breathtaking world of the Azores. The huge crowd at Charley's autograph session showed just how important the globetrotter is to the motorcycle community. Quite a few of the hundreds of fans were moved to tears when they finally got their idol's autograph. Dylan Wickrama's lecture “At the End of the Road,” carried by enormous intensity, will also be remembered as one of the emotional highlights of the 20th Touratech Travel Event.
New format: Adventure Stage for intensive dialogue with the audience
The Adventure Stage, newly created especially for the anniversary event, was also met with enthusiastic response, allowing even more adventurers to report on their experiences around the globe and share their knowledge.
ADV Travelbug, Martin Brucker, Claudia Courtin, Wolf Haenlein, Judith Seeberger, Irene Seidler, Charlie Spiegel, and Dylan Wickrama used the new format to engage in dialogue with the audience.
Another new feature at this year's Travel Event was the Touratech Ladies Corner, which offered women who love to travel a forum for exchanging experiences and networking.
Proven classics with positive response
The trusted program items were once again very well received by the international audience. Test rides on the latest adventure bikes were particularly popular. All test rides for the brands represented—Aprilia, BMW, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Indian Motorcycle, Moto Guzzi, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha, and Zero—were fully booked during the three days of the Touratech Travel Event.
The factory tours and second-choice sales also attracted numerous visitors. Concentrated information on the topics of tires, training, organized trips, and customizing was available at the exhibitor mile, which was filled with numerous premium manufacturers.
After a wealth of information, inspiration, and riding experiences, Friday and Saturday of the Travel Event came to a close with live music.

Even though countless memories are still swirling around in people's heads, the festival organizers already have their sights set on the next Touratech Travel Event. It will take place in early summer 2026, with the exact date to be announced shortly.
