Touratech: Made in Germany

In contrast to many other companies in the industry, Touratech adheres to the Made in Germany approach. The Niederschach site employs 550 people and the entyre value chain, from development and production to marketing and sales, is represented at the company headquarters.

There are many good reasons to stick to the traditional location in the Black Forest.

On the one hand, there is Touratech‘s high level of vertical integration, which triggers enormous material flows. The closer all the units are together, the less traffic is generated. This is good for economical production - and the environment.

On the other hand, Touratech‘s role as an OEM supplier requires absolute adherence to deadlines. Accessories that Touratech manufactures for numerous motorcycle manufacturers must be delivered to the customer on time - otherwise the assembly line will stop.

What‘s more, Touratech has the best possible control over product quality thanks to production at the company headquarters. Should any problems arise during the production of an item, the distances within the company are short in order to adapt the process at short notice so that the desired quality can be achieved.

And last but not least, Touratech has access to well-trained specialists in a region that is characterized by medium-sized companies and is home to many automotive suppliers.
