Touratech Suspension now goes one better: For tough off-road use or when travelling with a high payload, the individually configured shock absorbers from the Extreme range take performance to a whole new level.
The KTM 690 Enduro R and its sisters Husqvarna 701 Enduro and GasGas ES 700 represent the archetype of the Enduro with the punch of their 74 hp single cylinder, high off-road capability and equipment that is limited to what is absolutely necessary.

Riders who want to unleash the potential of their powerful bike get the material for a riding experience on a new level with the Extreme suspension struts from Touratech Suspension. Regardless of whether you want a sporty ride through the tight curves of the smallest country roads, at high speed through difficult terrain or on an extended journey with a large payload: The Extreme suspension struts impress with consistent damping performance even under the highest strain and have the necessary reserves for extreme situations.
High-tech for the highest demands
The developers have equipped the high-end shocks with the best components for this purpose. Like all shocks in the ‘Travel’ range, the Extreme shocks are based on a separating piston design and have an extra-strong 16 mm piston rod made of chrome-molybdenum steel, special low-friction seals with an integrated Teflon support ring and high-strength stainless steel bushes in the shock eyelet. The spring preload can be adjusted over a wide range. The purposeful use of a classic adjustment ring ensures a low weight of the shock absorber, which is particularly appreciated by sporty riders. In addition to the obligatory rebound damping adjustment at the base of the shock, the Extreme shock absorbers have separately adjustable compression damping in the high and low-speed ranges for precise damping adjustment at very high damping frequencies and high loads. A large piggyback ensures effective cooling of the damper oil and the large oil volume guarantees constant damping performance under heavy strain. The travel-dependent damping system PDS, with a second damping piston, provides effective protection against bottoming out.
The spring rate and the basic setup of the Extreme shock absorbers are adjusted to the intended application profile in consultation with the customer. Like all shock absorbers from Touratech Suspension, the Extreme range is fully serviceable - for consistent performance and a long damper life. A general operating licence (ABE) is available so that no legal inspection is required.
